1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Powermemo you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of service

Powermemo provides tools for language learning including video study, vocabulary flashcards, grammar lessons, spaced-repetition review, and AI-powered speaking practice. Features may change or be discontinued at any time.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• One account per person. Do not share your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content

Vocabulary, notes, flashcards, and other content you create in the app remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, display, and process them in order to provide the service. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.

5. Third-party content

Powermemo lets you study YouTube videos using the YouTube Data API. You must comply with YouTube's Terms of Service when accessing that content. We are not responsible for third-party content and do not host or distribute copyrighted video files.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the service.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data.
• Resell or sublicense access to the service.

7. AI-generated content

Practice feedback and other AI-generated responses are for educational purposes only. They may contain errors. Do not rely on them as professional language instruction.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Language-learning outcomes depend on your own effort and are not guaranteed.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Powermemo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms. On termination your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
